Raynor’s greatest skill as a manufacturing jeweller lies not only in his knowledge and love of precious and semi-precious stones but in his personalised attentive approach. He’s a people’s person through and through and as a natural communicator, he instils confidence in his clients while he interprets their needs. 

 

Raynor’s experience in the jewellery trade dates back to 1987 when, as a schoolboy in Port Elizabeth, he worked at Midland Jewellers on weekends and during school holidays. He learned the basics of jewellery manufacturing from Maurice Levin, owner of four jewellery stores at the time, one of which his father managed. Later in Cape Town, he worked at Olga in Cavendish Square, first as a designer and later as a manager, before he opened his own shop - Raynor’s Design Studio - in 2006.
